The Ballet School of San Francisco offers exceptional classical ballet training for students ages 4–19, with intentionally limited class sizes that allow for individualized instruction. Our faculty bring extensive professional experience and expertise to a rigorous yet joyful and supportive environment that welcomes dancers at every level.
Our Vaganova-based curriculum builds a strong classical foundation and expands to incorporate a wide range of styles as students progress. Students have frequent opportunities to perform and engage with diverse repertoire, from classical and contemporary works to new choreography by Resident Choreographer Julia Adam, helping them develop as well-rounded artists.
Our highly qualified faculty are deeply committed to each dancer’s individual growth. Their experience and guidance provide students with a strong foundation for continued artistic and technical development.
Whether preparing for a professional dance career, planning to study dance in college, developing technique, recovering from injury, or seeking the joy of movement, students receive personalized training tailored to their individual path. Students can continue their academic education through high school while pursuing dance training.
