We offer every student the opportunity to receive exceptional classical ballet training in small class sizes, with individualized instruction from some of the Bay Area’s finest teachers. Whether a student is working toward a professional career, planning to dance in college, or simply wants to experience the joy of dance, our program allows them to continue their academic education without interruption. Upon graduating from The Ballet School of San Francisco, our students are prepared for any path they choose.

The Ballet School of San Francisco offers a comprehensive curriculum in classical ballet for children ages 4–19. All students are welcome in our rigorous, yet joyful and supportive environment. Class sizes are intentionally kept small to ensure each student receives the individual attention they need.

Our curriculum is Vaganova-based in the early stages and expands to incorporate a wide range of styles as students progress. We focus not only on technical excellence but also provide frequent performance opportunities. Through exposure to diverse repertoire, students develop into well-rounded artists.

Our highly qualified and dedicated faculty have all enjoyed professional performing careers and are deeply committed to supporting each dancer’s individual growth. Classes take place in clean, modern facilities designed to foster focus and creativity.
