Levels 3 A-C are where the beginning of proper ballet training begins. We teach a Vagonova based curriculum that develops into a wider range of styles as the student grows through our program. 

There are three sublevels that offer different hours per week to suit a young child’s particular interest in other afterschool activities. In order to go on pointe and advance to level 4 the student needs to have attended level 3C (4 days a week) and have the strength, ability, and maturity as well as the teacher's approval.

Level 3A: (Twice weekly)
Ages 6-8
This level builds up on the foundation developed in levels 1 and 2 and is for the more disciplined student by increasing mat exercises and center work while always focusing on the joy and expression of dance.

Level 3B: (Three times weekly)
Ages 7-9

This is the level where students begin barre work, facing the barre. Center work is focused on coordination and musicality. By the end of the second year, the student has fully mastered proper barrework facing the barre while developing into basic center exercises focusing on musicality, coordination and strength. 

Level 3C: (Four times weekly)
Ages 8-12

In this level the student transfers the strong foundation of barre work they learned in 3B to one arm on the barre while center exercises increase to develop coordination through movement. The student will be introduced to pre-pointe and by the second year they will go on pointe depending on the individual maturity and muscle development of each student.

Level 3 students have the opportunity to perform in Fall Classic, The Nutcracker, and Spring Concert

Level 3A: 3 hours per week
Tuesday and Thursday class 4:30-6:00

Level 3B: 4.5 hours per week
Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 4:30-6:00, possible Saturdays 11:30-1:00 starting after Fall Classic to prepare for The Nutcracker

Level 3C:  6.5 hrs per week
Monday 4:30-6:00, Wednesday 4:30-6:30, Friday 4:30-6:00
Saturdays 11:30-1:00
