The Ballet School of San Francisco is seeking a ballet teacher to join our faculty beginning September 2026.
Teaching Responsibilities
During the school year, September through June, teachers work approximately 35 teaching weeks. Additional teaching opportunities may be available during the summer months beginning in July.
Teachers must be comfortable working with students ages 6–18. Classes are scheduled between 4:30 and 7:30 PM.
Teachers are also expected to assist with check-in and dismissal for younger classes, adding up to 8 additional hours per week.
The position includes approximately 8–10 hours of teaching per week, plus up to 8 additional hours of check-in and dismissal responsibilities.
Compensation
Teaching is compensated at $55 per hour, with additional check-in and dismissal time compensated at $22 per hour.
